Continuation quality improves when the task-relevant parts of a worker's mental model are externalized in a recipient- and goal-specific artifact whose claims are linked to inspectable evidence.

Boundary conditions

This predicts bounded task continuation, not belonging, tacit skill transfer, or general onboarding success.

Alternative explanations

Template compliance may proxy author diligence; benefits may come from forcing authors to think rather than from the artifact received.
